ChromaDex Taps Glanbia Nutritionals to Distribute pTeroPure

ChromaDex Corporation, Irvine, CA, has signed a letter of intent with Glanbia Nutritionals (NA), Inc., Carlsbad, CA, for the distribution of pTeroPure brand pterostilbene. Glanbia Nutritionals will serve as the primary distributor of pTeroPure in North America.

pTeroPure was named the 2010 North American Most Promising Ingredient of the Year by the prestigious independent research company, Frost & Sullivan, and is the central ingredient in its recently launched BluScience line of dietary supplements. pTeroPure is a proprietary, nature-identical formulation of the antioxidant compound pterostilbene, which is found naturally in blueberries. Along with a number of other effects, pterostilbene has shown great promise for supporting cardiovascular health, cognitive function and anti-aging.
